Scott Biggs is currently CEO of Assured Performance Network, located in Irvine, California. He is the author of numerous business books, video programs, and management workshops. Scott Biggs is known around the world as publisher, host, lecturer, panel moderator, consultant, innovator, strategist, futurist, and author. But most of all, Biggs is a friend to thousands of business owners.
Biggs has degrees in Communications and Business, and a graduate degree in Industrial Psychology. He is a former US Senate Aid and worked on numerous political campaigns from local to state and national.
For the past 25 years, Biggs has focused his talents in business development for a wide variety of industries and business clients both large and small including the automotive industry, hotels, restaurants, auto repair, manufacturing, construction and more. He was a critical team leader in developing revolutionary new concepts in software, eye wear, internet marketing and communications, and much more.
As an Entrepreneur, Scott Biggs has successfully launched more than a dozen of his own businesses and assisted with the development of thousands more. Beginning in 1985, Biggs focused more and more of his talents on projects in the automotive industry beginning with a state-of-the-art management systems for Mechanical and Collision repair businesses and later on educational programs delivered in live settings and video tape. Since then, Biggs has been the creator and principal marketer of numerous businesses and products that are household names in various segments of the auto industry such as BodyShop Video, Collision Concepts, Business Development Group, EOM, eBOSS, BodyShopTV.com, Assured Performance Network, and BodyShopBuying.com. Through eMergent Technologies, Biggs has designed, marketed, and delivered several software product that are used by thousands of businesses most especially the collision repair industry including: EOM, the electronic operations manager, eBOSS, the electronic business operating system.
Biggs has delivered over 850,000 hours of management education, consultation, and inspiration to the nearly 75,000 collision industry professionals as a viewing audience and 7,000 class attendees since 1988. Biggs’ companies have provided management services, marketing and advertising to thousands of businesses. Most recently, Scott Biggs has developed the world’s largest independent auto body repair network and business Cooperative (co-op) with over 3,500 locations across the US. He also works with the auto manufacturers to drive wholesale parts sales introducing revolutionary programs that are changing the market. He also heads a consumer advocacy that helps to ensure consumers have good business choices and know their rights when they get their vehicle repaired.
Biggs’ industry contributions are numerous. He was the host and founder of the Collision Business of the Year Awards, and the Night to Remember program. He was also the administrator of the Hall of Eagles for 13 years, an original co-founder of the National Auto Body Council (NABC), and an advisor, advisory board member or consultant to several industry notable organizations such as GM, Ford, Honda, Toyota, ASA, SCRS, CIC, ICAR, CCC, Process Claims, 3M, NAPA, Sherwin-Williams, AKZO, BASF and dozens more!
In 1994, Biggs was recognized with the Auto Collision Industry Achievement Award, and inducted into the Hall of Eagles. In 2002, he was recognized as one of the 25 most influential leaders in the 20th Century in the Collision Industry.
